Holiday Gift Ideas.
Since holiday shopping has already begun, I thought I'd post some ideas for inexpensive, yet beautiful gifts! Since Etsy is all about home made-ness, there are some very unique pieces of art. I think art is a wonderful gift because it can be interpreted in many different ways, it acts as a nice reminder of the person who gave it to you, and you can keep it forever. Whether you create it yourself or purchase it, art is thoughtful, intriguing and best of all, cheaper then brand name clothes, purses, wallets, watches, and electronics. As my mom reminded me the other day, the holiday season is not about the amount of money you spend on gifts -- it's about appreciation for the world around you, the people in your life and taking the time to remember what it means to be a human being. Gifts are wonderful ways to remind those in your life that you love and appreciate them. Although it would be fun to spend hundreds of dollars on gifts, most of us are not qualified at this point in time, to do that. Get back to what gift giving means, it's truly the thought that counts, not the cost. Art is a personal gift because it requires a lot of thought when picking it out.
